These first stage titanium alloy compressor blades from a Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine would have once powered a Boeing 727 or 737.  Rescued from scrap, we have polished one side of these approximately 14 inch high blades to a mirror finish and left the rear in its original state. 
They are mounted on lightly oiled, reclaimed mahogany bases and weigh around 1.5kg.
